Davidson Way is much different and nicer than I remembered it. I was searching for this stairway. I performed the Piedmont Stairs hoping to find this stairway. I forgot where it was. At one point, I thought that this stairway was next to Marzano on Park Blvd. It's not on Park, but it's on Grand Ave. I remembered Davidson Way as a stair that was off limits, hazardous, and next to a deserted italian deli.
Well, it turns out I remembered it incorrectly. The Italian theme I remembered was the beautiful mural. Very pretty. I suppose my mind mistaked it for an old italian deli. But it has been many years. And I remember this stairway being very old and uneven. But it turns out, that is not the case. The stairway is wide and elegant.
I also walked down to the Grand Lake Rose Garden (pics 3,4,5, &6) and sat next to a couple of wild turkeys. This garden was much more beautiful than I remembered. The Greek columns (pic 3) and the roses were lovely. It was a very relaxing experience.
