I started off uphill from Wisconsin and 22nd and walked to that spot. Then i descended down about 145 steps to Arkansas Street. This stairway was on the sidewalk, but were basically stairs. Then i walked around the Friendship Garden on 22nd and walked down 47 steps, which consisted of wood.
Wandered around Conneticut then turned left and walked uphill until I got to 22nd and Rhode Island. This sidewalk stairway had an upper and lower level. The upper part had about 67 stairs, while the lower had 19. Then I turned right on Vermont Street. I was impressed by the stairway. It had a total of 88 steps. 66 on the first 2 levels and then 22 across the street.
I walked down 21 stairs from Mckinley Square park. I turned left into the Community Garden and sat there for a while, just gazing at the view and also the garden. There were 24 hidden wood steps on the side of the garden. I walked down and up. I continued on San Bruno street until i hit 22nd. I turned right until I hit Deharo and then walked down 50 steps. The steps consisted of rocks and wooden steps. This was a hidden trail between houses that wasn't featured in the book.
I then turned right on Carolina Street ascended up a 67 step stairway, this was just a regular stairway. But the view at the top was great. After that i walked up a steep hill on Carolina all the way to my starting point. There was a 12 step stairway at the top of the hill.
