Made my way down Culebra. It didn't have that many stairs and some soda bottles were littered. The condoss around the alley were pretty nice. Next stop around the block was the Chestnut Stairs.
Climbed up the Chestnut Stairs, then headed right until I got to Larkin and Filbert. Headed down the Havens sidewalk stairs. I believe there were close to 100 steps.
This time around I made it a conscience effort to see Macondray Lane. After Union I found the same lane but then after making it to Jones, got confused again. Then I realixzed that I had to enter into what appeared to be private property but was in fact open to the public. Macondray Lane was very nice. Filled with green plants and flowers, and a nice water fountain/pond.
I made my way through the lane and admired the distant views of The Coit Tower. Towards the end of the lane I slipped on the stone path and nearly fell to the floor on my rear end, but I was somehow able to maintain my stability. I must have made a startling noise and that caused the parrots from Telegraph Hill to start going crazy, which I credit the fall to. In Macondray Lane was 5 or 6 parrots, which the video is below. Af the end of the Lane was a 34 step wooden stairway.
I was on Green St and made a right and found a brand new staircase. Green Stairway reminded me of the Vallejo Stairs. A lot of plants and a nice long stairway in the middle of what would have been an alley. Remarkable. I didn't get a count but I believe it was about 100 steps and steep.
Following that, the rain was starting to creep in and the clouds were taking up the view. I made my way back.
