After admiring the little street, I headed down the block to Stuart St and then turned right on Piedmont. Following that, I passed by an elementary school and reached my 3rd stairway. This was on Garber St. (photo 5) I realized that this was the first sidewalk stairway that I had found in the East Bay. I was impressed by the vegetable gardens and the palm trees. 50 steps to the top.
After culminating to the top of the Garber Steps I headed straight and crossed Claremont Blvd. There was an intersection and I turned left on Tanglewood Rd. At the end of the street, awaited a very small stairway about 6 steps or so, following the steps was a 100 yard sloping path (photo 6) that led me to another 5 or 6 stairs. Once I reached the top I was able to appreciate a Golden Gate Bridge View. Unfortunately I had got lost after this trying to find my way back from the East Bay map. So I ended up just going back in the reverse direction that I came from.
