At 288, I noticed an abundant Japanese Garden and appreciated it's sculptures. I continued on left and noticed an island of trees, and turned right on that. After house 254, I found another elegant staircase. It was tiled and highly maintained. 118 steep steps I took to deposit me onto Sandringham Rd.
I turned left and walked a couple of blocks until I reached Cambrian Ave. I picked up some good views and appreciated the serenity of the neighborhood. After house 77, I noticed a small path that led me to my next stairway. 38 steep steps down and I was led down to James St again.
This time around, I turned right. I could have actually did another lap around since the last 2 staircases were close to each other, but chose to find the next stairway. I was extremely impressed with the trees and beautifully maintained plants on this street. After reaching house 60, I found my last staircase. This one is a steep 110 steps down. I also realized that I could have did the whole route in reverse if I wanted to.
Overall, this was a short walk (about 40 minutes and 1.4 miles) but it had some of the best kept staircases and they were decently long.
